I've never met the owner, and from the other reviews it seems like that's a good thing but the rest of the Turkish staff is very friendly. The tarama salad is delicious and so are all of the other meze and kebabs. Stick to the basics when ordering. I probably wouldn't jump in a cab to go here but it's near the office and it makes the cut.
Steve Hanson has spread himself to thin and it shows in this B.R. Victim veteran. Blue Water Grill is uneven and nowhere near as good as when it opened. The only consistent thing on the menu is the very Americanized sushi. To add to the magic, the last time I went our waitress flirted mercilessly with my date and acted like I wasn't there. Fun times.

It's not fancy or frilly, but a good deal for typical Spanish tapas. The shrimp were fresh and well-prepared. Everything was loaded with garlic as you would expect. Don't bother with the sangria- it was very boozy and lacked fruit except for lemons.
The bartender (with his 8 earrings) was friendly and genuine. Our waitress couldn't have been nicer but her talents lay elsewhere than actually serving food on a timely basis. The ceasar salad my friend had could have used a little zing, but my crabcakes and her scallops were both very good, and they also have freshly made fries which were delicious. Our bill would have been pretty low if not for the $60 bottle of wine we ordered. Overall, I would go again.
