It deserves a "4" for location. It's so close to Lincoln Center, you can almost hear the music. As for the restaurant itself, it's attractive when not overflowing with theater goers. The service is really good considering the impatient mob it's serving. The food choices are enormous and good too, taking into account the demands on the kitchen. A convenient pre-theater choice.
The sister of Xavier's, this is a comfortable, loud when full, crowded restaurant with delicious food and wines, and professional service. It's worth taking the hairpin turns in the road going down to it. A side benefit is the view standing outside of the Hudson River.

Lunch buffets are the reason to go to this quiet restaurant, conducive to conversation, while tasting unimaginative but good Indian choices. In a town of restaurants with increasing ethnic variety, Passage to India is a nice addition.

Son of "Rocco's"and looking very much like Dad. The menu has been lightened with more appetizers and lower prices. It serves a purpose in New Canaan, casual, medium priced and with a nice big bar. If you avoid the children's hour, you can have a pleasant evening.
