This is the kind of spot you go to for the total package, not just one aspect. So the pretty good food becomes more enjoyable, taking into consideration the really cool space, music, lighting, people, etc. Went last night and can't wait to go back. The appetizers were so good you could have made a meal of them. Entrees were good, not fabulous, but I wasn't expecting fabulous. Owner was on site and was charming and accomodating.

We had a reservation for 8:15 this Saturday night. Our table wasn't ready, but the hostess showed us to a lounge area, and took our drink orders. We didn't have to wait long before we were brought to a nice corner table. Our server was horrible. We had a difficult time getting his attention, and when we did, we had to wait for his return. Food was good, not spectacular but it was a nice evening in a quaint spot. Service almost ruined it.
Definitely not a destination or great example of fine French cuisine, but would absolutely recommend this spot for weary travelers on their first night in Paris. Food is good and the lack of variety is perfect for exhausted families. Don't be discouraged by the line out the door - it moves pretty quick. Price is good too, it won't disappoint.

Perfect confluence of cocktails, scene and of course the food. Its the one place you are sorry when they honor your reservation on time because the bar scene is so awesome. The food is always delicious, the stuffed artichoke is a favorite, as is the veal sorrentino. You will be hooked after one visit.
