Truly a Philadelphia institution that everyone should visit. Very good to excellent food throughout to stimulate anyone's taste buds. The lunch crowd on Saturday between 11:30 and 1:30 creates chaos but is an indication of how good it is. If I could hav

Awesome restaurant for a casual meal. They combine fresh ingredients with great recipes and service. Kid friendly. Great place to try scrapple. Definitely a must eat in Philly.
Waste of money. Overdone brisket and cornbread that tasted more like a bad cake. When crowded, it's like eating in an average NYC restaurant but with poor food. I've had great BBQ all over the U.S. but this had no redeeming qualities. Avoid at all cost
The Clarmont is one of the true "steady eddies" on the Columbus restaurant scene. The dinner menu is dependable and consistent, but not spectacular. Steaks and chops are the best options. It's definitely a power lunch spot with large salads and good sandwiches. Breakfast (served Monday-Saturday) is probably its best meal and is not appreciated enough in Columbus. The pancakes are outstanding and the omelets are made with fresh ingredients. Also, while it draws a steady breakfast crowd, you don't have to wait for a table like you do at weaker chain competitors.
