Eolo is a relatively new Chelsea restaurant which serves Sicilian food. This is not the usual heavy handed tomato sauce southern Italian food. They serve delicately flavored interesting combinations which are very good. Highly recommended!
A pleasant, old restaurant in the West Village with a very noisy downstairs and a much more pleasant upstairs. The food was very good, the service was excellent, but the price is out of line for this place in this location (7th Ave S). Another caveat is that the restroom is not lit......in fact, it is very very dark!
We went again and have to repeat that the food and service is excellent...and the ambiance (upstairs) is pleasant.

It has been a while since we have been at this restaurant...it was much more expensive last time. We enjoyed it this time , and we will go back. The food is imaginative without being bizarre, and both the decor and the service are unobtrusive . Very handy for both Manhattan Theater Club and Pearl productions.Another dinner and we still feel that this is a solid choice!

You have to ignore the decor..which is shabby bistro and the furniture which is uncomfortable and unattractive and concentrate on the food, which is wonderful!
