Very nice food, with the foie gras & doughnuts as a winning combination. Wine list is tiny, and not very impressive. Service was generally good, although my bread plate and fork were taken after the appetizers, then not replaced. The banquette was unpadded (and uncomfortable); the table closest to the door was repeatedly subjected to bursts of cold air.
Overall, a very reasonably priced Harvard Square restaurant needing work. F23/D17/S18

So, we went expecting a transcendent experience, particularly given the other reviews. It was fine, but by no means spectacular. Our party of three got one veggie tasting menu and two "anniversary" tasting menus, and while we enjoyed all the food, nothing was spectacular.Service was a bit on the amateurish side, which is particularly surprising for a restaurant of its supposed caliber.
