Nothing is perfect - the noise is just too loud at L'Express. But the food is good solid traditional French food, at a reasonable price. No pretensions, no dollops of nonsense, no sprinkling of sprouts, just delicious French food as it used to be. I had a glass of red Cote du Rhone, escargots, Steak Tartare, and a poached pear with chocolate ice cream. All delicious. With tax & tip = $53. I will return!

"When you've had with pretentious ""artsy"" food, this is one of my ongoing favorites for good, old fashioned, comfort food. Mom's Meat Loaf, Southern Fried chicken, etc. Good service, reasonably priced, and very convenient to the movie theater next door. Been there many times, and plan to continue returning."
