Had a small salad and a "Southwestern Burger" Both tasty. Well run on a weekday lunch. You place your order at the counter, pay, take your order number to a table, then your food is brought to you. The music is loud and distracting; the decor, cold and industrial, but you're not staying long. You're here for a good burger and that's what you get.

Superb and very well run old New York establishment. Have been there often recently. The meat is very tasty: porterhouse and spare ribs (twice). Delicious deserts. The Keens Coffee Cantata is a favorite. Last time I had a delightful Expresso Panna Cotta.

I chose not to order the $24.95 special (avail: 4:30 to 7:30PM) selecting instead Caesar salad ($10) and the lasagna ($18). The bread was tasty, the oil bland. My salad was loaded w. cheese, light on dressing, lettuce and taste. The lasagna was merely OK. Portions were tiny; service spotty and we waited too long for our main courses and had to rush for a 7:30 curtain. I won't be returning to Dopo Teatro. Poor overall.

Friend and I drop by late on a weekday afternoon for tea and pastries. Hostess offers us places at a high seated, bar type area. To be seated at a table we'd have to order (at least) soup in addition to what we were planning to have. Not very hospitable, Bouchon Bakery, and we won't be looking for tea and pastries at this "bakery" in the future. Our word of mouth shall not be good!
