Still the mecca for superb cuisine and service by which all others should be judged. Constantly evolving menus that reflect the best in available ingredients. Tremendous wine list.
tuna tataki was good but sesame crust was heavy handed. pork chops were dry, almost inedible., even with the overly liberal use of a marginal sauce lobster thermidor was mostly mushrooms, a watery and somewhat tasteless sauce and spiny lobster meat that was a poor substitute for maine lobster. ceasar salad and waiter service was pretty good. overall, very disappointing food.

Consistently great fare. Food unlike most in London. Nose to tail dining taken literally. I love the marrow.
