Delivers on its reputation. Everything you've heard about this 'birthplace of California cuisine' is true. The preparations are simple and straightforward but impeccably executed. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. A bit of a haul for peninsula types like ourselves, but we'll be back.

Upscale yet reasonable (think Mission prices vs. FiDistrict where this is located), Italian. Handmade pastas were very good (Short RIb Papardelle was standout). The room is well appointed though pretty big and loud, thus service suffered a bit. That said, the food was very good. Reccomended.

still a favorite, even though it doesn't appear to be the sceney hotspot it once was. skewers and 7 flavor still can't steer you wrong.

Everything you've heard is true. Outstanding, over the top multi-course dinner theater. Carts abound (champagne and caviar, cheese, home made candy)
