I've tried every BBQ joint in metro Boston, and THE BEST pulled pork is at Blue Ribbon....tender, moist, and not overly shredded with perfectly authentic N Carolina vinegar sauce. Pork ribs were very moist and flavorful, but on the fatty and chewy side.
The first time we arrived, the place was closed due to fire. The owner was around and did ask that we return once it was reopen. I am very glad we did! The place itself is small in size but an authentic BBQ--you could watch the meat being smoked behind the counter. The ribs tasted of smoke, rub and love. The flavor of the pulled pork was perfect- not too overpowering and not lackingn flavor.
The ribs were smoked, which could be seen cooked in the open pit, and tender. The sauce was served on the side and not smothering the meat. Menu offered wide selection of BBQ choices and mix and match combos to please the crowds. Good selection of beer including Lone Star - the pride of Texas.

Easily the most authentic Mex north of the Mason Dixon. A great selection of tequilas and attentive service are the norm. The nightly specials are typically the most creative and exotic menu items and are worth a long look.
