When the owner/chef is always there and watching over the place thats a good sign. This place knows what they are doing with service and BBQ. Everything is tasty and the single bone beef rib is SPECTACULAR. Best Beef rib I have ever eaten, and I have eaten a lot of beef ribs. Very casual decor and plenty of crayons w/paper table covers if you bring the kids. Very interesting space looks like a converted garage. Solid Corn Bread. No Pickel Chips.

I moved to Port 6 months ago and have already eaten here a number of times. It is excellent. That the decor is only listed as a 19 is enormously deceptive as the majority of men are sports jacket/suit clad and the women in dresses. The service is EXCELLENT. Very Itilian through and through. Always a ton of different specials that are expertly recited from memory. They understand how people deserve to be treated. Not overpriced but also not cheap.

Basic hot dog/burger grub with an unusually long line for this kind of food, but with the history of the place that might be the reason. The valet parking was hectic to say the least.

Great food and stiff drinks. Not a fan of the giant ice cube in the burbon becuase it's better when the ice melts and that idea is designed to prevent exactly that. Great steak. Even greater sides and apps. Expensive but worth it. Got to meet Wolfgang himself when he came out to introduce himself to every table. That was not only classy but very cool.
