"The best meal we had in Paris. A complementary plate of Iberian ham served with Normandy butter and good bread starts out the evening. Fabulous house made foie gras, cauliflower veloute, cassoulet, quenelles de brochet, and other traditional dishes are e"
Start with the mixed fritto (eggplant and zucchini) and proceed to any of the specialty hearth-style pizzas and you can't go wrong. Spectacular desserts and warm welcome from host Viron keep customers going back.
This place is great, year-round. Attentive young owners bring in an upscale, good-looking crowd at the bar, the favored place to eat. Dynamite drinks, and the food is really good too -- lots of choice from local clams and oysters to pizza to ribs and steak. The $38 meal steal (2 entrees and a bottle of wine) can't be beat.
What's all the griping? This place rocks -- great scene and delicious food. Our server could not have been more solicitious. We feasted on topnotch local ingredients - littlenecks, mussels, halibut and tuna. Good steak too! No reservations, but the young New York-y crowd doesn't seem to mind. They gather around a great bar, while the eye-catching hostess keeps everything running smoothly.
