I think now that this particular spot has switched locations (now in Midtown near 11th), some of the service issues may have been fixed. I had very great service for a large group at lunch several weeks ago. Everyone was pleased with their food and took some cake for the road.
This place was a little pricey for this out-of-towner, but I thought the menu was great; I was encouraged to try new things. And the oysters was really fabulous on a warm May evening.

I have been here multiple times. This last trip all of the taps were out, but their Abita in cans were icy cold. A good place to sit a spell and let folks walk by.

A very funky and fun place that doesn't try to be "Buckheady". I went for lunch and would love to go back for dinner.
