Good food though not as refined as when it opened. This is your typical NY Italian restaurant. Service competent and attentive. A few tables on the sidewalk for dinner al fresco is a pleasant addition to the warm dining room in the summer.Everything clicks on all cylinders or burners...

Average French Bistro. The owner, Serge, is often absent and no longer entertaining the crowd. Service is good and staff is charming but the kitchen has fallen into a routine, and there are more "misses than hits" these days. When Serge is there, he is often sour and loud. The wine list has very few interesting selections. The wines by the glass are often mediocre. Serge is no longer a restaurant I recommend to my friends.

A welcome addition to the new Harlem scene. Cedric is a beautiful restaurant with excellent bistro fare and good wines at fair prices. This is what a NY bistro should be. Barely a year old it has already attracted a solid reputation and become a destination.
What a surprise to find this good restaurant in the back of a store front that looks more grocery than eatery. The food is quite good, the ambiance is great, the crowd knows they're part of a well kept secret society. A must before or after the theater.
