Very friendly staff, but let's face it- the burgers are not what once they were. Be prepared to wait... and wait. Sometimes, you can grab a seat outside and sometimes you can hear them call your order. I only ever eat here if I'm in the neighborhood and there isn't already a line and I'm so hungry I can live with the disappointment.

Wonderful food, I only feel that sometimes the service is dismissive (maybe because I only eat there once a year...) Personally, I cringe at buying pasta in restaurants usually, but the Aglio Olio is JUST SO GOOD! Also, the Salade Composee is enough for 4 to share generously. Small wine list (and no decent beer for peasant-style food), but the wines are well-chosen. Truly a hidden gem in yuppified Fremont.
The sometimes snarky service is totally eclipsed by amazing feats of vegetable. This is the kind of place that makes rutabaga sexy. Even though I am a devoted carnivore, I don't miss the meat at this extravagant excuse for some healthy fiber...

Very friendly, absolutely fresh seafood. Gorgeous rolls, and the fried ice cream actually comes out with a crispy hot crust. I love I Love Sushi.
