Very good food, vey nice service, ridiculously small portions for the prices. I mean,I frequent NYC restaurants-so I'm well acquainted with small portions-but they take it to another level(of small). For that reason,I wouldn't go back. A shame,as the food is quite good.

Our favorite of the chain, they make it the way it should be-spicy!Menu is now in english,& while the quality & portion size seems to have gone down a bit over the years,it's still a great place for authentic Sichuan cuisine.

Went for our 2nd visit about a month ago, food quality seems to have declined. I agree with the reviewer that said there seems to be a lower standard for LI BBQ than other places. This place can't compare to NYC places like Blue Smoke,Hill Country, etc .that get a lower food rating than Smokin' Al's yet have MUCH better food!
Very good, unpretentious Sichuan food, perhaps not quite up to the level of the Grand Sichuan a few blocks away but certainly worth a trip. They have hot pot tables in the back-pick a soup base & various ingredients from a seperate menu ,& cook to your liking in an electric wok on your table. We didn't try it on this occasion, they recommend you call ahead to reserve a wok table if you're going to give it a try.
