Just live up the road and we can't believe we hadn't discovered this little UES gem earlier. Tapas was good - small plates but not too small. Good ambiance - it's hard to believe you are just around the corner from the dump that is 2nd Ave. Service was a little slow at times - our waiter forgot to bring water twice but not offensively slow. Will definitely return.

"We stumbled upon this place last night while in East Village and so didn't have high expectations but were pleasently suprised. Nice atmosphere, welcoming staff, small but good value cocktail selection and great food. "

The location is amazing, especially if you get a table overlooking the balcony; however, unfortunately it seems to be beneath the waiting staff to actually serve anyone without a sneer. We had to send a steak dish back because it was cold, even the side dishes were not hot. All in all, a tasty meal, but disappointing in terms of service and most certainly overpriced.
The food is reasonable, but the service varies - on some visits we have had friendly waiting staff who are helpful, and on other occasions the waitresses have been barely able to communicate, and what's more: argumentative if questioned about the bill. Not one we'd recommend.....
