Only been twice ... although always lauded, our experiences were downers. Service ignored us, we were seated (with a reservation)in a table almost in the kitchen. We almost got up and walked out. Thought the first time was a fluke but the attitude was the same on the second. Don't bother.

The patio is beautiful on summer evenings, but the restaurant itself has small nooks in which to find romance. Don't miss the massive amounts of cheese, complete with little shop for carry home memories.

They always have a special 3-course special which provides for a less expensive option than picking from the fabulous menu. The Nags Head Grouper a favorite dish, as well as the bubbling fresh oysters. Wine list is good and reasonable. A great way to introduce your foodie friends to the North Coast!
