This place offers some of the best meatballs in NYC. My wife is a connoisseur of meatballs and absolutely loved the spaghetti & meatball entree. They were tasty and perfectly seasoned. The small dishes were all very good to start the evening. Trofie a prosciutto was a very good signature dish. Many interesting wine selections made this place a really pleasant surprise.

Interesting take on some classic selections. Started off with a nice fondutta and risotto balls - both were excellent. Grilled hangar steak was prepared perfectly, but the veal ricotta meatballs were a bit heavy on the nutmeg. Good wine list, but a little pricey for the offering. Atmosphere/decor were the best part.

We have eaten here at least 15 - 20 times and have never had a bad dish. Quality of food and professional service rival any Manhattan top tier restaurant. I typically get the pasta special and I go so far as to scoop the remaining sauce out of the plate with a spoon or my finger. My husband thinks it's funny (read: they have unbelievable sauces). Dish highlights are scallops thermador, the app w/ fried cheese and shrimp and any shank or chop.

Intriguing menu with good quality food. Pizze colazione was excellent, as were the pasta special (whole wheat spaghettini w/ lamb meatballs) and the Casoncelli - a signature dish of homemade pasta stuffed with short rib. The wine list was robust and the wait staff was very friendly and knowledgable. The wines were great. Only disappointment were the arancini - a little dry for our taste. Good find - we'll go back.
