I think Tallent is the best fine dining place in Indiana. Also, It is one of the most expensive restaurant in Bloomington area. But, comparing to other big cities, it is still reasonable place. They use fresh local ingredients for their food. The quality of food is pretty good. They change the menu by season. If you visit Bloomington, you should not miss the Tallent.
Are you kidding me? I think this restaurant is way too overrated. Thier steak and frites was not bad. But, french onion soup and Bouillabaisse were terrible. Definitely, I would not be this bistro anymore.
If you are looking for Amerianized Itallian food, Grazie is the place to be. But, it will be the bad choice for someone who look for authentic Itallian food. Grazie is vere casual and comfortable Itallian restaurant with reasonable price. Also, the quality of food is also about average. Overall, In Bloomington, Grazie is not bad choice.
Finch is located in the heart of downtown. I had been Finch for several times and I realized that their food is inspired by French and Itallian. Most of their food use local ingredients. Also, I think thier beer selection is the best in Bloomington. Some of foods are good but some are not. Their wood burned pizza and mussels are outstanding. But, steak was not good for ther price. If you have right choice, I think you will enjoy for sure.
