Went for dinner, and then tried their brunch. Wasn't really impressed with either. The food looked and tasted amazing, but the portions were a bit small for the price point. you had to eat a lot to feel satisfied. Brunch service was terrible, the manager ended up helping us more than our sever. Cocktails are creative, but again small. The space is AMAZING, Everything else falls a little short
Went for brunch only and I was super impressed! The bread pudding was AMAZING, I have never tasted a bread pudding so dense with custardy creaminess! The eggs in purgatory and the hash were both full of flavor. Everything was delicious! Can't wait to try it for dinner.

This place has so much charm. The space is great, there is an outdoor patio, service is great... & the food! Well every time I go I think I order every small plate, and share entrees with whomever i go with. The food is full of flavor, rich, tasty, just the right combination on home cooking meets modern flavors. The gnocchi with oxtail could rival my Grandma's! yes it's that good.

I am from LA and know the Venice location very well, and was so glad to see they opened up a spot here in SF (for the southern california transplant!) their food is amazing, slow cooked ribs, great sides, nothing is fried he so don't come expecting fried chicken or a po'boy. Just good smoked tender meats and side that you just can't eat enough of. You will leave here stuffed so com here hungry.
