being your average looking white girl, i expected the brusque, tatted bartenders to looked at me with disdain and confusion. surprisingly, this lasted for mere moments before they warmed right up and made me a bloody mary to knock me on my ass, which i enjoyed at a picnic table under a huge tree in their backyard barbecue-esque courtyard.

Gets crowded and the bartenders are still always happy to serve you. Food in the back or get a tamale from the Tamale Lady. If you work for the school district and haven't been- you're missing out!
