"Elegant" is one of the best words to describe the Willard. We had a large, beautifully appointed room with an oblique view of the national Christmas tree and the east wing of the White House. Christmas Day dinner (early afternoon) in the Willard Room was phenomenal.
However, if the experience was phenomenal on an absolute scale, on a relative scale it's not such a great value for the very high price.
