Much better than the '21' food rating. The owners are gracious and the wait staff very professional. You can actually hear yourself talk and aren't sitting on top of the person next to you. Worth the trip to 2nd Ave.

We hosted an event over the holidays last year for a large group. The entire experience was a pleasure from planning the event with Charlie Blair and Val all of the way through the event. One of the best all around dinner experiences in a long time. From meeting Perrone a tthe door to a great Rib Eye cooked exactly like I asked with wonderfully attentive service. I believe this place should be rated much hogher than the current zagat ratings for food I'd give it a 26. For decor its a 28 and the service was a 24

surprisingly good food and reasonable prices. lovely setting
