I ate here for a late lunch, and it wasn't that great. The food was bland, and there wasn't nothing special about the place.

By no means do chains encompass the Pittsburgh scene. Just like other cities, chains do take root. M&S's is a good bet for lunch or a decent cocktail (negroni, etc.) and some oysters. Otherwise just another corporate establishment.

Basic, boring, bland. Unlike some of their other locations, the menu in Pittsburgh never changes, other than to take off the best items. While it's probably one of the better restaurants to visit in the area, that doesn't say much.

Its a quality place to go. They have good food, good atmosphere and good service.

Tells you all you need to know about the Pittsburgh dining scene that this non-descript, by the book corporate-chain seafood house is one of the few restaurants listed for the city.
