Pretty dining room, though a tad disappointed with the service and food...if this is the best there is in Boston. Mind you it was good, just not great.
The food/service were excellent. We went for the advertised $40 fixed prix, but waiter said the only fixed prix was $100. After the meal, the manager acknowledged the $40 fixed prix, but asked if we had mentioned it when we made the reservation - then excused the waiter because of low demand. A higher manager called next day - apologized, said $40 special was popular, and did not offer even a free drink as compensation. Disappointing experience!
Lovely dining room overlooking Public Garden. Attentive well-trained service. Sund wiine list. Foie-gras-stuffed poussin was outstanding.
Warm and attentive service. Server made great suggestions to get the most of our dining experience. When asked, all wait staff provided in-depth information about menu items. Clearly they all have a passion for all things culinary. Fresh, thoughtful, exciting tasting menu. Light, interesting sauces. Lovely understated decor. Comfortable noise level. Overall, a wonderful treat. Ranks right up there with Charlie Trotters!
A fabulous dining experience, with great follow-up from the staff. Called our home to let us know where exactly in France we could acquire a specific wine we had enjoyed the night before.
