Great food. Great Service. Cozy, pleasant atmosphere. I'll be going back soon!

An outstanding Cuban, much larger than you expect from the storefront. Familiar favorites, like Ropa Vieja, are given appealing new interpretations, and less common dishes, like oxtail, are succulently rendered. Service is generally attentive, though it's a miracle that servers can negotiate the dimly-lit garden without white canes.

tight becomes cozy; loud becomes "people certainly seem to enjoy themselves here," slow becomes "relax, we're in no rush." great ceviche, small plates, and entrees. i'm no expert but certainly tastes Cuban. whatever, it's good food for sure. music and atmosphere reminded me a bit of Gus' Place from the days when Gus would dance with the customers on Saturday nights. (Gus', now around the corner on Bleecker, is still great, too.)

When we weren't quite sure of what we wanted & asked him about some items on the menu, he hissed at us & gave a warning, that we can only sit at the table for 1 hour. During the meal he never came once over & asked if there was anything he could get for us. The food was just average, nothing great & Overpriced. My f

I have been before and i have good memories of this place. It used to be fun to come here because it was full of life and charming. I was sad to see that it wasn't and didn't feel the same anymore because this time was empty and not friendly. It might be that the food, service and hospitality which were detrimental. The menu had changed and was more expensive. The dishes were so small that it may well be a tasting menu. I would not be coming back
