THE BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT OF OUR TRIP! FOOD WAS TERRIBLE--WILL NOT RETURN. IRENE'S IS MUCH BETTER.

What starts out as a simple restaurant, turned into a maze getting to our table that looked like they had set it up 2 minutes prior to us arriving. The empty hall crowded with big tables created the perfect shouting match to hear dinner mates. The food was ok..fish was overdone and sauced to disquise the mistakes. In the highly competitive and phenomenal NOLA restaurant market, it's surprising to find this surviving long-term at this pace.

success has led to mediocrity. the restaurant has added non descript additonal rooms, which should be used for private parites. but are used for overflow. the result is no ambience. the service might be described as the bums rush. the food comes too quickly. bad attention to food quality,,,the chicken was inedible. its an old story, charming small place becomes mismanaged big place, there are better options in no.

We got a appetizer sampler for our large group and almost all of it was delicious, especially the oysters. My fish capri was very good and others in the group were raving about the duck. The good thing about Tommy's is they have a lot of rooms and can separate your group if you want. It turned out to be a great place to have dinner.
