Excellent food. Same restaurant, but service move quickly.
We went to this restaurant because of Zagat's - very loud and LOUSY service! The waiter was more interested in hitting on the other waiter than on serving us - and brought the wrong entree, as he was paying no attention - and DIDN'T EVEN APOLOGIZE! There are plenty of great places in the North End - I'd stay away from Cibo's until they begin to focus on the food.
We have been enjoying dinners heare since it first opened. It is usually reasonably easy to get a seat for some reason. The decor has declined over the years, but the food remains very good. Service can be sketchy - typical for the North End though.
Reasonable prices at this Hanover Street restaurant. Portions are large and a reasonable wine list and menu make this a North End meal that won't break your wallet.
This place has gone downhill. I once asked what one of the dishes (in Italian) was, and the waitress replied, angrily, "IT'S A MEAL!" I would avoid this place.
