It's not just food that we crave; every once in a while the need for a certain type of liquor hits and it must be satisfied. For some, it's bourbon, for others, a nip of good scotch gets the job done. Agave Spirits (Tequila, Mescal & Sotol)

Pastry War

This Downtowner is all about the agave. Expect small-batch spirits and the best frozen margaritas in town. Bonus: there's tamales, chips and salsa and a pool table.

El Gran Malo or El Big Bad

Infused tequilas get the job done at this pair of "gastrocantinas," one in the Heights and the newest in Downtown. They've got great food to pair with those tasty tequilas, so come hungry.
