Suzie’s Farms holds its annual summer soirée “Pedal, Pick and Grin” from 10 AM to 2 PM. This free family-friendly event features live music, tours of the garden with vegetable picking, plus a bike parade. Pack a lunch or grab something from the food trucks on site.

Take advantage of Sally’s Seafood on the Water’s Ocean 2 Table Program every Saturday. Guests start off by visiting the Tuna Harbor Dockside Market to purchase seafood, then drop if off at the restaurant where chefs transform the goods into your dinner for that evening. Sunday, August 2

Fuel up before the horse races at Searsucker Del Mar. From now until September 7, the restaurant is offering their choice of brunch with bottomless mimosas and a Turf Club ticket for $55.

Visit Craft & Draft, a Coronado Brewing Company and Var Collective event, featuring local artists with local beers. Also on deck is food by Nomad Donuts and various food trucks. The event at Coronado Brewing Company’s Tecolote Canyon site is free and begins at noon, lasting until 5 PM.

Wednesday, August 5

Celebrate National Oyster Day at Sabuku Sushi. From opening until close, this North Park eatery is shucking and serving oysters for only $1 a pop! Wash it down with one of 40 craft beers on tap starting at $4.

Over at Ironside Fish & Oyster, they’re holding their second annual Shuck-A-Thon, this time featuring ladies who work behind the kitchen scene. Nine-Ten’s Rachel King, Great Maple’s Carmine Lopez and The Cheese Store’s Marci Flores are just a few of the guests scheduled to appear. The free event starts at 4 PM. As for oysters, grab 'em for a buck a piece.
