Don't get us wrong, we love to indulge in Miami's decadent dining scene. But in this heat, we tend to stick to the lighter options — and thankfully there are plenty to choose from, including these three new health-inspired dishes to try now.

Gnocchi at R+D Pop-up by JugoFresh

Yes, it's a pasta-inspired plate made for dessert, with the addition of hazelnut creme and orange blossom honey. Find it at this local health-centric chain; the South Pointe location is hosting a new pop-up, which remains open for dinner with a rotation of new dishes.

Salmon À La Plancha at Dos Caminos

This lively Mexican chain with outposts in New York and Fort Lauderdale recently added healthy (and lighter) options to its hearty menu, including this salmon dish served with lemon-herbed quinoa and yogurt-based sauce.

Tofu Cheesecake at Morimoto South Beach (pictured)

This non-dairy tofu cheesecake caps the healthy prix fixe weekend brunch menu ($47 per person) at Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto's latest Miami concept, rounded out with bottomless glasses of fresh juices, an entree (think egg white breakfast wrap) and a maki roll.
