Forgo the inconvenience of building a campfire and head to this East Village coffeehouse. The complete kit includes full-size Hershey bars, marshmallows and graham crackers plus a mini heat source served right to your table. Order the platter for two ($6) or four people ($9).

Mississippi Mud Pie at Betty's Pie Whole Saloon

This extravagant chocolate pie has all the makings of a solid s'moreslike dessert. Everything at this Encinitas spot is made in-house, from the chocolate shortbread crust and the Belgian chocolate pudding to the marshmallows and brownie chunks studding the top of the pie. Buy a mini-pie for yourself ($5.95) or whole pie ($28) if you feel like sharing.

This brunch-centric eatery in North Park serves up the familiar campfire flavors as French toast ($12). The kitchen starts with thick-cut brioche bread, coats it with graham cracker crumbs and grills it until golden. It’s finished with toasted marshmallows and a drizzle of chocolate sauce on top.

Grilled S'mores Sandwich at Barleymash

Just in time for fall, this creation by pastry chef Haley Sipan contains all the best things about s’mores in sandwich form ($8). The adults-only treat at the Gaslamp restaurant includes boozy bourbon chocolate ganache layered with vanilla bean marshmallow inside lightly toasted cinnamon swirl bread. The fun doesn’t end there.
