Your weekend eating and drinking checklist has arrived. And what a delicious weekend it's going to be with Tour de Fat taking over Palmer Square and a new iced coffee creation at Beatrix. That's not all that will keep your glass full and your plate packed this weekend.

Beatrix has added Bulletproof Coffee to its rotation. It can be ordered in the usual coffee drinks — lattes, cappuccinos and Americanos — as well as a new chocolate-cherry iced coffee.

We’re feeling a little French this weekend and we hope you are too, because Troquet in River North recently launched a new brunch menu with pain perdu, galette complete and croque madame.

On Saturday and Sunday, Roscoe Village Burger Fest pits burgers from Cortland’s Garage, DMK, Rockit Burger Bar, The Slide Ride and more for the title of People’s Choice and Critic’s Choice best burger. See who takes the meaty crown at the corner of Belmont and Damen.

Tour de Fat is back this weekend. New Belgium’s tribute to beers, bikes and bemusement takes over Palmer Square on Saturday with live music and a beer lineup that includes Carnie Blood (a festival exclusive) and Lips of Faith (a collaboration with Three Floyds).

July 13 is National French Fry Day — celebrate with what we think are some of the best fries in town at Scofflaw. The bar will also be throwing a New Orleans-themed going away party from noon to 2 AM for its bartenders heading to Tales of the Cocktail.
