The Pubbelly Boys' closed their cozy Sunset Harbour steakhouse last month because of rising rent costs, but are currently looking to set up shop elsewhere. Perhaps the Design District or Midtown?
Chef Michelle Bernstein's American bistro in the MiMo District closed this summer. But fear not, Bernstein fans, she plans to reopen it in the near future with a brand-new look and concept.
6. Umami Burger
The California-based burger joint closed its South Beach outpost in June, due to construction on Alton Road. The chain hopes to open a new location in Miami, but no word on when and where.
