The easy vibe and festive Mexican décor (including a skull-laden ceiling mural) make downtown's The Pastry War the perfect setting to throw back a little salt and lime (with tequila, of course).

Newly available for your sipping pleasure: the Conejo Verde. The cocktail, made with dry gin, lime juice, salted tomatillo purée and Damiana herbal liqueur, combines traditional Mexican flavors with a juniper base. It's light and refreshing with a slightly savory finish — one sip and you'll be hooked.
