This weekend it's all about the music at ACL. But before you head to the festival, check out an Austin food tour. Or take a break from live bands on Saturday afternoon to celebrate the anniversary of one of our city’s many microbreweries.

All Weekend

Austin Eats Pre-ACL Food Tour
Here for the festival and want to sample some of the best food in Austin? The ACL BBQ/Taco/Beer/Dessert Van Food Tour will pick you up downtown, take you on a whirlwind foodie tour, and drop you off at the festival on October 11 and 12. The tour will hit some of the best spots in town, including Franklin Barbecue, Torchy's Tacos, Blue Ox BBQ, Sugar Circus Bakery and Hops & Grain Brewing. After, if you still have room to try some of the awesome food vendors at ACL, you’ll be our hero. Make reservations online, as spots fill up quickly ($75, starts at 9:45 AM, pick up at the corner of West Third and Nueces, drop off near the festival at Barton Springs and Lamar, 21 and up).

Saturday

Independence Brewing Anniversary Party
The time for the big ninth anniversary party is set for 4:20 PM, so get ready to celebrate with a ninth anniversary ale, commemorative glass firkins, a dunking booth full of yeast and beer and more. For $15 you get access to all of that plus a special pint glass and three beers ($15, 3913 Todd Ln., 4:20-8 PM).
