With Padres Opening Day today at Petco Park, now is a great time to go over some delicious deals to be had on baseball game days. Although there are a few updates to the concession stands at Petco, it's going to be hard to beat the deals at these Downtown spots. Here, prime picks for a hunger-ending pre-game bite.

Seventh-Inning Stretch at Jsix: For a taste of local beer or wine, visit Jsix’s bar for a community toast. Specially priced $3 lagers and $5 craft drafts will be offered during the seventh through ninth innings, the time when most ballparks stop selling alcohol. And beer isn’t complete without a dog. Look for housemade sausages or hot dog-inspired dishes by chef Graves. 616 J St.; 619-531-8744

Home-Run Pairing at RA Sushi: During home games, throw down $12 at RA Sushi for a Stone IPA and a Pacific Roll (pictured), a spicy mix of albacore, cilantro, jalapeño and cucumber roll topped with avocado and mango salsa. 474 Broadway; 619-321-0021

Eat-Drink-Park at San Diego Marriott Gaslamp Quarter: Those looking to drive to the park should consider dining and drinks at the Marriott. Spend a minimum of $25 at Soleil @K or Latitude Lounge inside the hotel and a complimentary valet is thrown in. The offer is only valid on home games, does not account for overnight parking and is subject to availability. No ticket? You can still enjoy the game at ALTITUDE Sky Lounge with their bird’s-eye view into the ballpark. 660 K St., 619-696-0234
