Bun-ker Vietnamese and the Sussman Brothers Come to Berg'n

Pork buns and chicken shawarma are new to the menu in Crown Heights

Crown Heights food and beer hall Berg'n from the Smorgasburg crew is freshening up some of its vendors for summer. Starting this week, Pizza Moto will be replaced by Samesa, a Middle-Eastern inspired concept from Max and Eli Sussman (formerly of Mile End) that will focus on chicken shawarma and will also offer a veggie eggplant sandwich and a few salads (pictured above). Samesa's concept was partially inspired by the Lebanese and Middle Eastern food prominent in the Detroit area, where the brothers grew up.

Also, replacing Ramen Burger beginning June 30 will be Bun-ker, the popular Ridgewood-based Vietnamese eatery from an Eleven Madison Park vet. The kiosk will feature items like a pork and crab spring roll, pork buns, and more. Check out the menus for both below.
