That little wooden shack adjacent to Logan Boulevard actually has big things happening inside. Restored in 2010 by Logan Square Preservation, the building acts as a multidisciplinary arts space and events pop-up.
For the second year in a row, the space will host a chefs dinner to raise funds for its programming and operational expenses. Some of Logan Square's finest chefs will represent the neighborhood at the six-course dinner on November 11.
Participants include Matthias Merges (Yusho), Jared Wentworth (Longman & Eagle), Abraham Conlon (Fat Rice), Johnny Anderes (Telegraph) and Jason Hammel (Lula Café). The dinner will be followed by dessert from Bang Bang Pie Shop.
Last year, the event raised $6,500. Tickets cost $175, are available online and include cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, six courses and wine.
