This September, West Chelsea will be adding a notch in its culinary belt with Monarch. The 4,500-square-foot, 1930s, industrial warehouse will be serving chef Michael Citerella’s modern American menu alongside a 10-seat oyster bar. Dishes like seared Montauk fluke and a shaved asparagus, fennel and radish salad will highlight the “fresh market” menu.
Wanna know what we’re most excited about? Christian Sanders of Evelyn Drinkery has created the cocktail list for Monarch. No word on exactly what’s being served behind the bar, but expect classics with a “unique” twist.
