You can't keep these two out of the news lately—Chef and FOH duo Daniel Humm and Will Guidara of the acclaimed Eleven Madison Park and NoMad are opening a fast-casual restaurant called Made Nice, according to the Wall Street Journal. Coming to W. 28th Street in spring/summer of 2016, Humm and Guidara plan to serve composed plates of seasonal meat, fish and veggies for between $10-$15 a pop. Design firm Stonehill & Taylor (who conceived of the NoMad space) will be in charge of the aesthetics and Humm and Guidara are financing the project entirely by themselves. Humm and Guidara are the latest fine-dining group to get into the fast-casual game, joining the ranks of chefs like Roy Choi, Jose Andres, Danny Meyer and countless others. Check out the results of our recent fast-casual survey for more on the growing trend and stay tuned for more details on this project as they emerge.
