Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant takes a step closer to world domination on Friday with the opening of a tenth location. After a ceremonial “first pour” with the Voorhees, NJ mayor, the upscale brewpub in the Voorhees Town Center (about 25 minutes east of Philadelphia) will open to the public at 5 PM.
Each of the 10 outposts of Kevin Finn, Mark Edelson and Kevin Davies’ mini-chain has its own chef and head brewer, and in Voorhees they will be Scot Seher (formerly in the kitchen at Iron Hill Chestnut Hill) and Kevin Walter (previously head brewer at Iron Hill Lancaster), respectively.
Expect a wide-ranging menu of family-friendly food like soups, salads, burgers, pizza and steaks, along with seasonal specials from the chef. The brewery will produce six house beers at a time, which will rotate throughout the year.
The original Iron Hill opened in Wilmington, DE in 1996. In addition to the new Voorhees branch, you’ll find Iron Hill in Chestnut Hill, Lancaster, Media, West Chester, Phoenixville, North Wales, Maple Shade, NJ and Newark, DE.
