Josh Capon's Lure Fishbar opened its outpost at the Loews South Beach Hotel last night, providing dressed oysters to the under-dressed Miami crowd. Lure Fishbar Miami, a collaboration between Capon, John McDonald, and Josh Pickard, is the latest venture between the trio, who also run B+B and El Toro Blanco in New York City. Capon worked with Executive Chef Jeff Raider, ex-Sea Grill, on the menu of the Miami location, creating a few new items, including grilled sugar cane shrimp and the South Beach maki roll - a mix of salmon, cream cheese, scallion, and mango sauce with crispy tempura flakes. The restaurant is currently open for dinner service nightly beginning at 6 PM.
