Sancho Pistola’s: Fishtown Taco Exchange
Monday, March 24, brings the first of this guest-chef series to Joe Gunn and Casey Parker’s second cantina. From 9 PM-midnight, Will’s Christopher Kearse will be in the house collaborating with chef Adan Trinidad on the “Will Sancho?” taco: grilled lamb’s tongue, coleslaw and carrot BBQ. Two tacos will run you $13 at this one-time-only pop-up.

Lemon Hill: Charity Cocktail Social
Another first in a series takes place on Monday, March 24, when a team of top cocktailians join forces for a late-night happy hour at this Fairmount bar. Half of all proceeds during the 9 PM-midnight event will go to Share Our Strength. Expect lots of special $8 drinks made with Beefeater and Plymouth gins.

Azie on Main: Taste of Italy Wine Dinner
The Villanova dining room is hosting wine rep Hudson Austin for a five-course pairing dinner on Monday, March 24. Italian favorites like seafood risotto and Sicilian rotini will be matched with five wines from Italy. Seats are $65 per person; call 610-527-5700 to reserve.

Opa: Greek Independence Day
To celebrate the day Greece started its fight for independence, this Midtown Village taverna is offering a special four-course feast for $25 all day on Tuesday, March 25. Also on offer will be a $5 Metaxa cocktail. From 5-7 PM, you’re invited to stop by the bar and nosh on free Greek snacks as you sip happy hour drinks.

The Trestle Inn: Bourbon Battle for PAWS
Spend Wednesday, March 26, at this Loft District whiskey bar to help raise money for Philadelphia’s largest no-kill animal shelter. Tickets are $30 (here), and get you samples of four Woodford Reserve bourbon cocktails plus hors d’oeuvres and a chance to vote for your favorite. Things get started at 6 PM.

Tap Room on 19th: Pat Cancelliere Dinner
Chef Jennifer Choplin is ceding her South Philly kitchen to Pat Cancelliere for the evening of Wednesday, March 26, so that the former chef-owner of 943 in the Italian Market can reprise his unique Italian-Argentinian cuisine. Five courses include octopus, blood sausage, sweetbreads, empanadas and lots of chimichurri. Seats are $65 or $85 with wine and beer pairings, here.

Bistrot La Minette: Dinner in Auvergne
Chef-owner Peter Woolsey’s sister-in-law lives in this region smack in the middle of France, and on both Wednesday and Thursday, March 26-27, he’s offering a four-course menu based on its cheese-and-lentil-heavy cuisine. The meal at the Bella Vista bistro will be served all evening for just $35 per person, or $50 with wine pairings, and reservations are recommended (215-925-8000).

Fabric Row: Fourth Friday Relaunch
Shops along Fourth Street south of South have gathered to rejuvenate their “Fourth Friday” event series. From 5-9 PM, on March 28, stroll the strip and check out fashion, boutique goods and more, all while sipping complimentary wine and snacks at several storefronts. Southwark will be offering $3 drafts and $5 bites.
