This St. Patrick's Day in San Diego, you can do more than don the green. Restaurants all over the county are pulling out all the stops to lure revelers with food and drink specials celebrating the holiday that falls on Thursday, March 17, 2016. From authentic Irish meals to more laid-back celebrations with fun cocktails, here's a list of food and drink deals to check out for St. Patrick's Day in San Diego.

Breakfast Republic is going all out for St. Patrick’s Day. The North Park breakfast eatery will be offering a Lucky Charms latte made with marshmallow syrup and topped with Lucky Charms marshmallows as well as an Irish coffee featuring two shots of vodka with Irish cream and espresso. For food, order the corned beef sammie loaded with corned beef, Brussels sprouts, bacon, cabbage, pasilla pepper aïoli and two sunny-side up eggs.

Bring your pooch to Pacific Beach’s Backyard Kitchen & Tap for St. Pawtrick’s Day. From 6 to 9 PM, the restaurant is welcoming pups and their humans and offering specially priced cocktails for only $5.

Bankers Hill Bar + Restaurant is helping diners find their own pot of gold with their Drinking for Gold cocktail. It’s a combination of Irish whiskey, coffee liqueur, Baileys Irish Cream and chocolate bitters served with a festive chocolate gold coin in the bottom of the glass.

North Park’s Urban Solace is celebrating this holiday with classic Irish cuisine. Order house-brined corned beef, whiskey-braised cabbage, currant bread and buttered potatoes for $16.50.

Notorious Burgers in Carlsbad will be serving green beer and Shamrock milkshakes all day. For food, order the O’Irish Burger, a Guinness-braised corned beef and Brandt patty served with fried potatoes and steamed cabbage. Or go with the Irish Boss, featuring a half-pound of Brandt beef topped with sliced corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and Thousand Island dressing.

North Park’s Lafayette Hotel is going the traditional route with classic dishes for lunch and dinner. Dig into house-pickled corned beef and cabbage, Irish lamb stew or griddled corned beef sandwiches available March 17 through the 20.

All four Tajima locations (Convoy Street, Mercury Street, Hillcrest and East Village) are offering all-day drink specials including $2 off Sapporo and 50% off draft beers.

If you can’t give up your tacos for St. Patrick’s Day, check out Puesto’s green tortillas made with fresh spinach and cilantro mixed into the masa. Both Puesto locations in La Jolla and Downtown will be using these special tortillas all day.

Don Chido in Downtown San Diego is serving a bright-green margarita this St. Paddy’s Day. Made with Olmeca Blanco tequila, fresh lime and agave, this drink will be available for one day only.

Grab your own Lucky Leprechaun at Babcock & Story found inside Hotel del Coronado. The special holiday cocktail is made with vodka, Midori, triple sec and a orange slice.

Set your eyes on something sweet this St. Patrick’s Day at Heaven Sent Desserts. The North Park dessertier will be offering chocolate Guinness stout cake, green cupcakes, Irish bourbon bread pudding and more. And if you find a gold coin underneath, you’ll win a variety of prizes such as free custom cakes, cookies and gift cards.
