These fun, romantic places each have something to offer when you're planning a memorable night.

The first — and some would argue the best — of Frank Bonanno’s restaurants has impeccable food and a quiet elegance that fosters intimacy.
Order: If there’s any preparation of foie gras on the monthly menu…that.

This sister restaurant to Boulder’s excellent OAK at fourteenth boasts modern, globally influenced food that will knock your socks off. It’s located in The Source, so before dinner you can buy flowers for your date at Beet & Yarrow, get chocolates at Mondo Market, and grab a bottle of wine for later at The Proper Pour
Order: Go around the world and share the Key West Royal Red shrimp & grits, lamb shawarma and grilled Peking duck breast.

This delightful spot belongs to married chefs Amy Vitale and Dustin Barrett, and their love shows in the carefully crafted menu (with darling headers: desserts are “End Tables” and salads are “Table Leaves”). Salvaged, mismatched chairs and tables contribute to the shabby-chic appeal.
Order: The crispy sweetbreads.

Beatrice and Woodsley
What could be better than dinner among the aspens in this densely wooded grove on South Broadway? The story of the (sadly fictional) namesake lovers, the daughter of a French winemaker and a lumberjack-turned-cooper who made barrels for her family.
Order: Go for morning-after brunch and have the Monkey Brains, globs of pastry goodness drizzled with cinnamon sauce and walnuts.

This cozy French place oozes bistro charm; knowledgeable yet unobtrusive staffers can guide you through the all-French wine list and classic menu.
Order: Mussels Provençale and steak frites.

Frasca Food & Wine
A Saturday-night reservation at Boulder’s Frasca will always impress your date, both because of your extraordinary good taste and the level of commitment required to have snagged a reservation two months in advance.
Order: The changing menu always features the freshest ingredients of the season in dishes influenced by the cooking of Italy’s Friuli Venezia Guilia (which is just sexy to say).

Williams & Graham

Stepping through the door feels like entering the world’s smallest bookstore (by design), but the moment the hostess opens the faux bookcase and ushers you behind the curtain and into the bar, you're transported into a classic noir film. Snuggle into a lushly appointed booth and try to resist the urge to speak like a character from a Mickey Spillane novel.
Order: The Sex Panther, by Odeon, is not only Ron Burgundy’s cologne, it’s also one of award-winning barman Sean Kenyon’s delicious ingredient-driven cocktails.

Jax Fish House
There’s a reason Casanova dined on raw oysters: These suggestive bivalves are rich with amino acids that increase sex hormones, and the ritual of eating them fires up all five senses.
Order: Raw bar on the rooftop patio.
