A five-course dinner created just for NYE includes bites at the raw bar while watching the chefs work, as well as dishes like black truffle risotto and Masami Ranch Wagyu NY strip steak in red wine miso sauce.

Celebrate NYE retro-style in Bix’s 1930s supperclub-esque space. They're hosting a four-course prix fixe and two live music performances, starting with a jazz duo and then on to a jazz quartet. Menu options include Tsar Nicolai Reserve caviar on buckwheat blini, ricotta gnudi, lobster bisque, lamb chops and the popular chicken hash à la Bix.

Burritt Room + Tavern
Burritt Room is partying 1920s-style with a Prohibition Era party in their hidden upstairs dining room that evokes the era. Chef Luke Knox’s NYE menu is four courses over two seatings, followed by a Roaring '20s party with live music from Ollie Dudek and The Swing Machine Sextet featuring Ms. Emily Anne.
Details: The first seating is 5-6:45 PM at $65 per person, the second seating is 7-9 PM at $105 per person and includes entry to the Roaring '20s party, which is $50 on its own with light hors d'oeuvres, sparkling wine at midnight and live music. Dosa on Valencia and Dosa on Fillmore
Both locations of Dosa are throwing New Year’s Eve dinners that journey through South India, from Goa to Pondicherry. A four-course prix fixe menu features dishes like mildly spiced lamb kofta (meatballs) with rutabaga, chiles, onion, cilantro and raita, or winter uttapam (a pancake-style dosa) with caramelized fennel, sunchokes, trumpet mushrooms, potatoes and scallions.
Details: At Dosa Fillmore, the four-course menu is $95 per person. Indian and Bollywood beats from a live DJ start at 8:30 PM with a champagne toast and party favors at midnight, as well as complimentary mehndi (henna tattoos) throughout the evening. At Dosa Valencia, the dinner is $75 (before tax and gratuity) with no live music. Wine pairings are available at both for an additional $36 per person. Gorgeous, intimate Gitane is offering a special NYE menu from new chef Jason Tuley, paired with cocktails, sherry or wine. Think dishes like Dungeness crab over truffled celery heart rémoulade and crispy potato or short ribs over pommes purée with butter-poached local lobster, charred leeks and lobster fondue (vegetarian options also available).
Details: The first seating (5:30-6 PM) is $75 per person for a three-course menu with wine pairings for an additional $45; the second and third seatings (6:30-8 PM and 9:30-10 PM) are four courses for $95 per person, with wine pairings for an additional $45. Reserve online.
Hog & Rocks
Hog & Rocks is celebrating NYE with a five-course family-style meal from chef Robin Song. Dishes include oysters served on horseradish ice with pickled mushroom and pine oil, as well as roasted quail with mixed grains, roasted chicory and truffled blackberries.

ICHI Sushi + Ni Bar
ICHI Sushi will be celebrating the new year omakase-style with eight-course Japanese tasting menus paired with sakes (there is also wine and beer available), including dishes like blue shrimp crudo, Dungeness crab chawanmushi and a kabocha kasutera sundae for dessert.

La Mar Cebichería Peruana
Along the Embarcadero, La Mar Cebichería Peruana rings in NYE in full view of fireworks over the Bay. A regular à la carte menu plus holiday specials will be available, plus there's a DJ in the bar and lounge starting at 9 PM, and complimentary glasses of sparkling wine at midnight.

Monk's Kettle is throwing their annual New Year's Eve bash, complete with a nonstop slew of passed appetizers and unlimited beers from Monk’s fantastic taps as well as wines. But jump on it because this is limited to an intimate 45 people only.
Details: Tickets are $175 per person, including food (heavy passed appetizers all night long), unlimited drinks, tax and gratuity, and are available here.
Owner/chef Manny Torres-Gimenez of humble-but-delicious The Palace restaurant is hosting an intimate New Year's Eve party for 30 guests, starting with a 13-course seated dinner, bottomless wine and champagne, and then dancing until 2 AM. Manny's infuses his international dishes with his Venezuelan heritage and his wife Katerina’s Russian heritage, and the two will mingle with guests (single guests should feel welcome). Expect sheer decadence from complimentary foie gras to a selection of Siberian sturgeon caviar and black and white truffles.
Details: Reservations start at 7 PM (one seating only) for a max of 30 guests, and are $500 per person, all-inclusive of food, beverage, tax and tip.
New Year's Eve at Basque-Spanish great Piperade happens all day long with à la carte menus and complimentary party favors, plus a glass of sparkling wine for evening diners.

At Scandinavian Plaj, chef-owner Roberth Sundell is serving a five-course New Year’s Eve menu, including smoked duck yolk and chilled mollusk with Dungeness crab sabayon, celery sorbet and salmon roe, as well as additional bites, from oysters with gooseberry mignonette to Scandinavian caviar.

Press Club’s expansive, subterranean wine bar and lounge celebrates NYE with a glass of bubbly at the door, two glasses of wine or beer, party favors and a dance floor set to DJs until the televised ball drop at midnight. There are choices of beer and wine as well as the regular food menu throughout the evening. Best of all, portions of each ticket sale will go to Make-A-Wish Bay Area.

Chef Matthew Accarrino is serving a progressive Italian nine-course tasting menu at SPQR for NYE, with optional wine pairings from wine director and Italian wine expert Shelley Lindgren.

This modern French bistro ushers in 2015 with a NYE menu including chilled oysters and uni (sea urchin) with champagne gelée or butter-poached Maine lobster over sunchoke risotto with black truffles.
Details: Make reservations through the restaurant. The six-course prix fixe is $89, plus $55 for wine pairings.
Homestead Restaurant in Oakland is serving a five-course prix fixe menu around its bustling open kitchen, with main course choices of turbot and truffle with fingerling potatoes in hollandaise, ribeye and truffle with winter root vegetables, creamed spinach and sauce Périgord, or egg and truffle with crispy späetzle, dinosaur kale and honeynut squash.
Details: Make reservations from 5:30 PM until the last seating at 11 PM. The dinner is $100, with wine pairings for an additional $100. Each guest will receive a complimentary glass of sparkling wine (or nonalcoholic option if preferred) to start, and those present at midnight will also receive a round of sparkling wine and housemade edible party favors. Berkeley's go-to for all things sustainable and delicious, Gather is taking dinner reservations between 5-10 PM on New Year's Eve and featuring a twist on their regular menu with dishes inspired by the sea, like scallop crudo with heirloom potato, black truffle and champagne, or local sea urchin with soft scrambled eggs, American caviar and challah toasts.

La Toque at The Westin Verasa Napa
The Westin Verasa Napa and La Toque celebrate New Year’s Eve in Napa with a Red Tie Affair, including a five-course dinner at La Toque and a Red Tie Dance Party in the lobby at BANK Café and Bar with a DJ. Start with a champagne reception and passed hors d’oeuvres on the covered terrace, followed by a decadent five-course dinner at La Toque and ending with a Red Tie Party and dancing at BANK Café & Bar. Dress to impress.
Details: It's $274 per person for the La Toque dinner with access to the party at BANK (another $103 with wine pairings), or $65 per person for the party only. The champagne reception begins at 7 PM, and dinner at La Toque is seated at 7:45 PM; the Red Tie Affair runs from 9 PM-1 AM. Following a Mediterranean Voyage NYE themed dinner on a luxury liner cruise ($65-125), Bluestem Brasserie chef Francis Hogan bravely returns on New Year’s Day for brunch, serving mocha brioche French toast and the popular Bluestem Burger, along with eye-opening cocktails like a Rude Awakening, Hair of the Dog and a Red Eye.
