This weekend, Mike Price's West Village seafood specialist The Clam will begin serving brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Expect dishes like poached eggs and peekytoe crab Benedict with wilted spinach and brown butter Hollandaise; fried belly clam and lobster sandwich on a griddled bun served with old bay fries; buttermilk waffles with strawberries, pistachios and rhubarb-maple syrup and sides like asparagus and spring onion home fries; grilled slab bacon.
In the drinks department, expect brunch cocktails like Mary Under the Docks: a spicy bloody mary with a fresh clam bouillon and clam garnish, and Sicilian Sunrise: Campari, Prosecco, and fresh grapefruit and orange juice. Brunch hours: 10AM - 3PM.
